Occasionally I get to play the wedding march for friends' weddings ("here comes the bride" AND "there goes the bride"- look it up that's what they're called, I swear). Anyway, some friends asked if I could write a romantic bridal waltz for their reception. So my wife walks into the studio while I'm writing and suggests that I am "NOT qualified to write a romantic, bloody anything on the grounds that I always forgot our anniversary. Now, in my defense, Elvis' birthday is the 8th, and our anniversary is the 9th, so it's easy to get these things mixed up, right? So, I said " Darling, all I remember is you.".....the perfect crime.
